Remember when you were a kid and someone called you a name? Your mother tried to soothe you by saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." It didn't help much, did it? A more accurate saying would be, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but your hurtful words can incinerate my soul." Sometimes physical pain is preferred to the damage that can be caused by careless or angry words. Powerful things, words. Fortunately, used correctly, words have the power to change the world . . . change the world by changing people. That's where I come in. I use the power of the spoken word to deliver presentations that are both substantive and entertaining - presentations that make a difference!
