Easy Street
Radio Theatre
Easy Street Radio
Theatre is a live comedy show done in the spirit of live radio shows from
the past, but we’re not stuck in the past. This is what radio could have
been if there was no television We keep our artists licenses current. Hey,
we rap!
Our show runs about 45 minutes and is always clean and family-friendly.
You think a couple of
middle-aged Scandinavian guys can’t rap!? Well, you may be right, but we’re
willing to throw away every iota of dignity we’ve ever thought we had just
for your entertainment. Yo sure, yo betcha!
But wait! There’s
more! We also have the news from New Oslo, Minnesota with Tillie Anderson. Tillie knows and she tells all!
Your show is very
entertaining, especially to somebody of my heritage that lived through the
era of Jack Benny and Amos and Andy and that was the type of entertainment
we were accustomed to. I found your lines humorous, very entertaining, clean
and of the old radio style. I really didn’t expect to hear the talent
that you two have in putting on your show. Many times I get bored with
plays, but I can honestly say that I hated to see your show end. You guys
have talent both in script imagination and acting. As you say, no two
shows are exactly alike so seeing you again will bring on fresh humor,
laughs and a brighter day.

"Don't miss
the damsels in distress and the 'many hats' these guys wear as they parade
their humor, non-stop."

"Easy
Street Radio brings a tremendous amount of energy, creativity and obvious
hours of preparation to the stage.
...a refreshing departure from the hum drum norm of today’s idea of what is
“funny."
The smiles
start right away and by the time it is over, you will have shed your
inhibitions and you will actually be laughing in public."
John Erickson
Great evening! Lots of laughs!

All our material is original
except for the classic, "Who's On First?" Our show consists of "The
Adventures of Mosquito Jack." Jack goes after the biggest, baddest
mosquitoes in the north woods . . . with a gun! Along with his
side0kick, Left-Handed Morris, they hunt Jack's nemesis, Big Sucker!
But as tough as Jack is, he has love issues. He just can't bring
himself to tell his girlfriend, neighborhood nurse, Sweet Betsy Trueblood,
that he loves her.
